Meet Our Fundraising Runner Anjali Mullatti

I took up distance running at 49, starting with my first 5 km. I progressed to 10 km and completed my first half marathon last year. Distance running is particularly challenging for me because of a condition that restricts what and how much I can eat and drink. Getting enough nutrition and hydration is a struggle. But the high of crossing the finish line is indescribable! This year, I’m running 10 km at the Kaveri Trail Marathon to raise funds for Welive Foundation - an NGO I am proud to be on the board of. Many of the young people supported by Welive will be running too, thanks to the generous passes provided by the organisers. Welive works with youth, who have to leave orphanages at 18. They have no home, money or skills . Please support WeLive in its endeavor to support these youngsters, Every rupee counts, and every contribution makes a difference.
